Skill Up Futsal Training is where young players develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game through the fast paced world of futsal.
Our programs focus on the fundamentals: ball control, dribbling, passing, and decision making, while creating an environment where players feel supported, challenged, and motivated to grow.
Our Foundation
Skill Up Training was founded by Douglas Arienti, a Brazilian futsal coach, educator, and former professional player. Inspired by Brazil’s futsal culture, our programs focus on technical skill, quick thinking, creativity, and teamwork.
Coach Douglas brings over 10 years of professional coaching experience in Canada, including Brazilian Soccer Academy, Barcelona Escola, and Dutch Connections. Throughout his career, he has trained alongside some of the best coaches in the country and worked with players who are now competing at a high professional level, bringing that same standard of excellence into everything we offer.
Having played at varsity and professional levels, Douglas developed a deep understanding of how small sided play builds decision making, discipline, and game intelligence that go beyond the court.
With years of experience working with youth, he brings a holistic approach that supports both athletic performance and personal development.Our age appropriate training helps players grow in confidence, character, and love for the game. Skill Up is where young athletes develop on and off the court.

Our Methodology
Our training approach blends the best of global player development.Inspired by Brazilian futsal culture, where creativity and instinct are developed through both structured and street play, and refined through years of exposure to European methodologies, including Dutch systems and FC Barcelona principles.This combination creates a balanced approach focused on technical excellence, game intelligence, and player autonomy.
